For The Record by Donna Williams

Yesterday at 1pm I put samples of the ambient live recordings of 6 tracks by Donna & The Aspinauts up on our My Space music profile.   Then something crazy happened. As a friend was viewing the songs the counter kept going.  By the time she’d listened to 12 minutes of songs the number of song plays before her eyes had jumped from around 50 to over 100.  24 hours after the songs went up the Aspinauts My Space page had had almost 600 profile views and over 400 song plays.   We thought the songs were fun, irreverent, unpredictable, but, wow, guess listeners did too.  So we’ve officially gone feral.

Thanks so much to all of you who went for a visit there.  Hope to see you at our gigs in 2009 and hoping to have an album ready for you by end of March 2009.
